"My privadorma is my new favorite thing. You can just crawl in and block out the stress and chill in your own little world. Falling asleep and studying is SO SO much easier! I wish every student squished in a dorm could have one of these. The world would be a happier place."

I didn’t realize how hard it would be to go from having my own bedroom to sharing one small room with another person. I like my roommate, but I still needed somewhere that felt like mine. Closing the PrimaDorma curtains for even 20 minutes gives me a chance to reset after class. My bed feels less like a random dorm mattress and more like my own little room.
My roommate stays up doing homework on her laptop until around 2 a.m., while I have early classes. The curtains reduce a lot of the light I used to see directly from my bed. I still hear her moving around sometimes, obviously, but it’s much easier to relax when I’m not staring at a bright screen across the room.
as an introvert, this is probably my favorite thing in my dorm. sometimes i just close it, put my headphones on and disappear for a little while lol.
I’m an engineering student, and my roommate is very social, so there are usually people coming in and out of our room. PrimaDorma gives me enough visual separation to read notes or work through problems without watching everything happening around me. I wouldn’t say it magically makes studying easy, but I definitely feel less distracted. It has basically become my study pod during busy weeks.
After clinicals, I’m usually exhausted and overstimulated. I don’t always want to talk or immediately start homework, but it’s difficult to decompress when you share a room. I close the curtains, change into comfortable clothes and lie down for a little while before doing anything else. Having that separation has made my dorm routine feel much more manageable.
I originally bought it for privacy, but I use it for studying more than I expected. I sit on my bed with flashcards, close the curtains and put on noise-canceling headphones. Seeing less clutter and movement around the room helps me stay focused longer. It’s especially useful during exam weeks when every little distraction starts bothering me.
This made my dorm look SO much cuter. I added warm lights and matching bedding, and now my bed looks like something from Pinterest instead of a plain dorm room. Everyone who visits asks me where I got it.
I bought PrimaDorma for my daughter because she was nervous about losing all of her privacy in a shared dorm. We assembled it together on move-in day, and the instructions were much simpler than I expected. Once her bedding and lights were inside, the area felt warm and personal rather than institutional. She told me later that she uses it whenever she needs quiet time after classes. As a parent, I feel better knowing she has a small place to recharge.
My order arrived later than expected, which was frustrating because I wanted it before move-in. What impressed me was that PrimaDorma emailed me before I even contacted them, explained the delay and continued sending updates. They also refunded me 30% without me having to ask. The delay wasn’t ideal, but I appreciated that they were honest instead of leaving me wondering.
